Body construction
One-piece bodies are compact and commonly selected where removal or internal access is not the primary requirement. Two-piece designs separate the body into connected sections. Three-piece designs can make inspection, cleaning or component replacement more practical, depending on the exact construction.
Full bore and reduced bore
A full-bore passage is closer to the pipe inside diameter and may be relevant where pressure loss or pigging matters. A reduced-bore valve may be smaller or more economical for a given nominal line. The choice belongs in the line design, not only the product title.
High platform and actuation
A high-platform pattern can provide a mounting interface for an actuator or accessory. Confirm the mounting pattern, stem design, torque requirement and available space before choosing an actuator package.
